Inside this platform, the students will be able to access all the readings and learning materials per subject, answer assignments and quizzes, attend virtual classes, engage in collaborative learning, monitor their progress and grades, and many others.
Class: these are specific subjects in which you are enrolled in. Here you’ll find contents such as PDF readers, powerpoint presentations, assignments and quizzes that your teachers prepared for you.
Stream: a wall of updates of activities in the classroom such as new assignments or recently posted materials. Teachers can post announcements. When enabled, students can post questions or resources.
Classwork: tab where teachers upload and organize learning and assessment materials
People: faculty and student classlist. Messaging members of the class can easily be done in this tab.
Assignments: activities that you accomplish asynchronously. Teachers give assignments if they expect file submissions from your or some text responses to a certain question.
Quizzes: another activity accomplished asynchronously. Quizzes are given by teachers if they want to assess your knowledge in a question and answer format. These can be true or false, multiple choice etc.
Go to classroom.google.com.
Choose student as your role.
Click the + button at the upper right corner of the page to Join class.
Enter the Class Code given by your teacher.
Click Join.
You can also check your email as your teacher might have sent you an invite link in joining your class.
To always be updated with the activities done in your class, including the assignments, always check the Stream tab.
Go to classroom.google.com.
Log in to your account and go to the specific class in which the assignment belongs to.
Go to the Stream tab.
You will see a list of all the updates. The type of activity is indicated. Access the assignments. On the left panel, you will also see the upcoming due dates.
Look for the assignment. Select and start answering! Good luck!
From time to time, your teachers will engage you in a virtual classroom, a synchronous activity similar to face to face classes. In virtual classrooms, your teachers will be able to share learning materials with you and have discussions real time. It is also possible that you do reporting in these classes!
Go to classroom.google.com.
Log in to your account and go to the specific class in which the assignment belongs to.
There are few ways to join the virtual classroom.
Stream through Meet Link
Go to the Stream tab.
At the top, look for the Meet link and click it.

4. Find your teacher’s post about having a GMeet class. Click the link. Your teacher has the option to not use the unique GMeet link of your class every time. It’s best to make sure that you are accessing the right link.
Classwork

4. Find the Meet icon at the top and click it.
Clicking the link will open the Google Meet for that class. You will only be allowed to enter if your teacher has launched it.
Communicating with your teachers and knowing how and where to do it are very important. Inside the Google Classroom you are taking, you can easily do this. You even have two options.
Go to the People tab. You’ll find a list of your teachers and your classmates.
Click the email button beside the name of your teacher. If the email button is not visible, the account that you are using might be a personal account or direct use of email in Classroom is not allowed.
After clicking the email button, a popup window will appear. Proceed composing your email and click send.
If you want to go through your learning materials offline or you need to have access to a hardcopy of a worksheet provided by your teacher. Here’s the trick that you can do.
Go to the Classwork and open the post with your target material.
Open an attached material like videos, PDFs and Powerpoint presentations. A new tab will be launched to open the file.
Click the print or download button that appears at the upper right of the screen.
