As teachers for online learning, it is important to introduce variety through different types of content. Aside from providing students with readings, it is helpful to include videos and audio recordings as well! They are more engaged when you change things up. Once they start feeling that the lessons are monotonous, they are more prone to distractions on the internet. Just make sure you have your files ready before uploading!
Google Classroom is very flexible when it comes to adding content and materials. You can attach existing audio files, videos, PDF files, slide decks and images that you have prepared previously. You can add these materials by pasting links to these files or uploading them. This feature is very helpful to provide complementary audio and visual materials, worksheets and exercises to strengthen your online teaching. Whether you want to add these files in assignments, quiz assignments, questions or material, the process is the same.
Here’s how you will upload files.
Go to your Classroom.
Go to the Classwork tab.
Click Create.
Select the kind of content that you wish to create. It can be assignments, quiz assignments, questions or material.
Provide the information required in the popup window.
To upload an existing file, simply click the add button at the lower left corner of the window and choose file.
