Once you have created your class inside the Google Classroom, you can start inviting your students. There are a few ways to do this:
Approach 1
Go to your class on Google Classroom.
Look for the Class code below the class name in the banner. Click the box beside it that says “Display”.
Approach 1.1 (through invite link)
A popup window will appear. Click the copy link invite and email this link to your students.
Let your students sign in and join the class.
Approach 1.2 (through a class code)
A popup window with a class code will appear; share the class code to your students.
Ask your students to go to classroom.google.com.
Ask your students to click the + sign at the upper left of the screen and choose Join Class.
Ask your students to enter the class code.
Approach 2 (manual enrollment through email)
Go to your class.
Access the People tab.
Go to the Students section and click the plus icon on the right.
Enter the email address of the student you wish to add in your class.
Click Invite. Once your student has clicked Join, he will have access to the class.
Similarly, you can do Approach 2 to add your co-teachers to your class. Go to the Teachers section and invite them. You and your co-teachers will have the same permissions except deleting the class, which only you can do.
To check the classlist and the progress of enrollment to your class:
Go to your class.
Access the People tab.
Go to the Students section and you’ll see all the students who are invited (light font) and those who have already accepted the invite (dark font)
